Gerardo Muñoz (he/him/his) has taught Social Studies for 22 years in Denver Public Schools and currently learns with middle and high school students at the Denver Center for International Studies at Baker. He is executive producer and co-host of the Too Dope Teachers and a Mic podcast and is Colorado's 2021 Teacher of the Year, the first Chicano teacher to earn that distinction.
